Peter Cauwelier, PhD

Since 2012, Peter has focused on team development through TEAM.AS.ONE — helping team leaders and teams learn, grow, and innovate together, and take ownership of their own future and their company's. His approach takes the team, with its existing capabilities and culture, as the starting point for change.

Before all of this, he spent fifteen years at Essilor International — as a Plant Director in Thailand, Director of Operational Strategy in the USA, and finally Executive Vice President for Asia Operations, responsible for six manufacturing sites across four countries and 8,000 employees. That operational grounding is why his work always lands on results, not just good intentions.

Peter is the first Thailand-based WIAL certified Action Learning coach, founded WIAL Thailand in 2013, and reached Master Action Learning Coach in 2017. Out of that experience and his PhD research, he created the Team Psychological Safety Certified Practitioner Program, now delivered by a global network of Master Facilitators. He is the author of two books, speaks four languages, and has called Thailand home since 1991.
